My BIG Debut!!!

YAY!  I have FINALLY started my own blog!!  Oh so excited!

Anyways...there's just soooo much going on, don't even know where to start!  Married life, Church, Work, It's always hard to keep up with people you care about, especially how busy people are!  SO, what better way than bloggin!?!  Even though I've never done it, keeping up with others who have is always fun so now I want to!

Reading Psalms 19 the past few days has really brought me to a new definition of joy and taking pleasure in doing what God wants me to do!  "...In them he set a tabernacle for the sun, (v5) Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.  (v6) His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof."

Looking at the sun, seeing the laws that God set in place for it to circle through the heavens.  Never stopping...always in motion...doing what God has commanded it to do...BUT...taking pleasure in it!!!  The sun is joyous, taking pleasure in doing God's will!!  Look what the sun can do in our lives: gives light to EVERYTHING, rises in the east setting forth a new day, sets in the west giving end to each day.  That's what I want!!!  I want joy and pleasure in waking up to God's will everyday in my life!!!  No more dwelling on pain, suffering, bad moods, etc...I want to take joy and pleasure in EVERYTHING that I do!!!  I'm tired of being sad that I have to work than spend more time with my husband, or not being able to go to youth or dance because of work...work work work...But when you look at how your time is supposed to be divided out: God must be first!!!  If you are doing that, Self comes next, then Family, then Work, and lastly Ministry!!  Being more in tune with God and spending time the way I'm supposed to rather than NOT actually brings peace to me!!

If God has blessed the sun with the responsibilities of doing His will, and the sun takes pleasure in it...how much more are we to take pleasure and joy of being disciplined in doing and wanting God's will in our lives?  Since WE are made in His image...being tried like silver until God can see His image in us!!

Definitely felt like I had to share that!!!  It brought me such joy this weekend, to a whole new level!!

7 Day Diva Detox!!!

Yesterday I started my second round of the 7 Day Diva Detox...definitely didn't like it the first time around.  But, do you ever feel like you have been eating EVERYTHING!!!  Everything you know you shouldn't!!  From Five Guys delicious burgers, to pizza, chicken wings, sprite floats, you name it...I've eatin it the last few weeks!  And boy does my body hate me for it!  So...in order to get these stupid cravings under control before our church-wide Daniel Fast this Sunday, I had decided to detox...

Why is it when you decide to either diet, or just eat healthier all the junk food (including delicious cafeteria french fries...YUMMY) look really really really delicious!?!  I don't know!  Or my co-workers yummy-looking chicken-pot-pie...it looked so good!!!

Yesterday (Monday) was my Water Fast, with delicious fruit for my dinner.  I had decided to bring red grapes to work for my scrumptious fruit, and boy was it delicious!  It's going to be a little more difficult this week since I am working this time around.  At least the first Diva Detox I did, I was on my seasonal break!  But, with God all things are possible!

I am so excited for this month!  This week is kinda like my prep for the Daniel Fast starting on Sunday!  I feel something BIG coming our way, I don't know what it is but breakthrough's and signs and wonders are coming!  SOOOooooOOOOooo excited!  I want what God has for me!  I feel like He is trying to tell me something, or doors are opening and He is guiding me to those doors!  Praise God!!

I know I'm in a season right now, and learning soo much about myself and growing in so many different areas.  It makes me wonder what is coming!
