I really feel like in this fast I need to sloooow down a bit! Make every moment I can be time I can spend with Him! Concentrate on His word, His voice, His will for my life/our life (myself and my husband) and to do His work. No more letting fleshly desires consume my thoughts, about food, my image, etc...Time for discipline and self-control! I don't want to rush through and miss opportunities to grow closer to My God!!! More breakthrough's coming...for myself, my family, and my church!
This morning when I was reading a bit, I had decided to look more into the Tabernacle of David and the restoration thereof. In the book of Isaiah, Amos and Acts it talks about the restoration of the Tabernacle of David. Some look a it as the restoration of his Kingdom and Throne, in the more physical nature. BUT, what if it also could mean a restoration of how David had praised and worshiped God? What if it could mean a restoration of David's desire to be close to God, a man after God's own heart? That is definitely what I desire! Setting aside all worries, self-conscious behaviors, and fully worshiping and dancing for God! Not caring who is next to you and what they are doing! Imagine if EVERYBODY had praised and worshiped God like that!?! No more singing songs Sunday Mornings and not fully embracing the meaning of what you are actually worshiping to! Dig deep into your desire to be His!!!
